วรุณาเกิดจากการต่อยอดเทคโนโลยีอากาศยานไร้คนขับหรือโดรน และเทคโนโลยีปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) ในอุตสาหกรรมพลังงาน ไปสู่การใช้ประโยชน์ในอุตสาหกรรมอื่น ซึ่งภาคการเกษตรและสิ่งแวดล้อม ถือเป็นอุตสาหกรรมที่มีความท้าทายสูงและสามารถ สร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงขนาดใหญ่ต่อประชากรไทยมากถึง 8 ล้านครัวเรือน ซึ่งจะยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตทั้งระบบนิเวศ (Ecosystem) ของภาคการเกษตรและสิ่งแวดล้อม รวมไปถึงเศรษฐกิจของประเทศไทยได้อย่างยั่งยืน
